I tried the flat blade screwdriver because it looked like it would work, and it can if things aren't very tight or stuck, but I didn't have very good luck with it. It is hard on the screwdriver and on the screw, not a good method....

Using the proper clutch head bit works much better.
I sure won't be trying that straight screwdriver "trick" again.
