The chev, as we call it, has been in the family since 1947, the bloke that bought it brand new was an old bushy and he would drive it down the middle of the street, his family got him to just drive it around his property, one day he was coming up to a gate and said "Whoa whoa Whoa"(horse and cart day talk for stop stop stop) and he hit the gate, so he sold it to my grandfather, his brother had just bought a new chev truck so they had two between them now, dont know what happened to this other truck. My grandfather drove this truck everywhere, he and his brother were going to a campdraft oneday, got a flat left hand front tyre and being two horse blokes managed to break all the wheel studs, so now it has three wheels with rh thread and one rear with lh thread, the chev was last registered to may 73, when my grandfather also started driving it down the middle of the street. the chev sat in the the for a long time, as a kid i used to play driving the chev, with all the bumps and corners and imaginary gear changes, i thought it was great. It was sold to my uncle who shifted it and let it sit out in the open for five years,but the chev was to return home yet. My aunty was able to do a deal for the chev and home she came. The chev is mine now, i will be getting her going, road worthy and full rego, i am not the type of bloke to do her up fancy, i will just get her going good and keep her going. Brendan
