Desertdog..you are correct for one part of the problem. Voltage at the sparkplug will indeed increase if you lower the resistance of the plug wires. E=I/R, so decreasing R by using lower resistance wire will give you more voltage at the plug. But, I think there was more than one question and one was about using other distributors like the Pertronoix.
