I'm well aware of the advantages of the T5 in our Stovebolts. But, I'm considering my cash outlay.In this area(NJ), I can purchase a fully rebuilt T5 for around $600 with a 12mo. warranty. I can go to a U-Pick and maybe get a used, no guarantee, T5 for +/- $200. I've rebuilt my 3 spd,but never a T5 and don't have a clue as to how hard that would be. So I'm seeking advice on buying already done or used and rebuild myself. Any thoughts? Note: I do already have an open '55 1/2T truck rear available.
