I am new to the older Chevrolet engines. I have a 1954 235 that I overhauled and it runs great. After 100 miles I re-adjusted the solid lifters I noticed very little oil getting to the valve or rocker tip. I would say it is almost dry. Is this normal? Oil is bubling out of the holes in the rockers and out of the overflow tube, but I cant see anything getting to the tip. I am used to seeing oil flip around everywhere like it does on my 350. I have 30+ lbs of oil pressure running 10w30 at a fast idle. I dont see any galling or scoring, but it sure makes me nervous.
