LONGBOX55 'Bolter L Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 DANVILLE IL	Oils high in parafin will cause it, too. Especially with infrequent oil changes. Not to sound like I'm bashing any particular brand, but Quaker State used to be notorious for causing sludge buildup. I've torn down a 305 that had been run on Quaker. Bill Burmeister
