Wow, just getting back to this. Wasn't satisfied with the tightness of the linkage from the pedal to the bellcrank and then up to the throttle shaft lever arm. Will post some pics this weekend of the neat fittings I bought to align the linkages and make the action smoother.
Kent: I have not run the truck on the road as yet but I think that the fuel log will be okay where it is. Being attached to the Offy intake and actually standing off of that by 1/4" or more should get me plenty of air movement. Will see when it's 95 degrees out!
