Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 | Factory-correct power boosters & mounting brackets are on eBay, frequently...they are a direct bolt-on and can be done in a few hours and do not require the system to be interrupted, so bleeding is not necessary. This applies when keeping the factory drum brakes on all four corners. For the money, I do the factory fit-up, when converting, since there is only one hole, to drill, in the firewall, in order to mount the booster mounting wedge and stand-off assembly. This hole is located on the firewall with a dimple, from the factory. This is one of the first things I do on my personal trucks and I hav done a number of conversions, when doing convenience upgrades on customers' trucks. 4-5-6 Chevy truck factory power brake booster assembly
