on the diagram, just to the right of the "front of dash" line, there is a dotted square labeled "acc jct block", that's the fuse panel [accessory] - 2 wires to the light sw, one to the ign sw,
see here RPO987616 - offhand I'd say the pink one to the ign sw gives power for the switched accessories, the red wire to the light sw is power for "always on" things
