I think the 1954 235 decal I put on my engine had a clear background - I'll see if In still have the decal on that valve cover. I think I got that decal from Chevy Duty ( now Classic Parts ) over 8 years ago. Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
