You will need a grinder, it's welded in.
On the flat side or up and down side or both?
It should be visible from the top side against the body panels/wheel wells. No welding from below.
BTW: I have not done this, so I am guessing the grinder would be the best tool, you may need to use a chisel to minimize any damage.
