Beast 54 I used a tank from a 83 el camino between the back rails of my 49 suburban. I had to slightly massage the seams which stick out an inch or so but no leaks so all is well. It has fuel pickup in the top and a side mounted neck which I will run out to the fender. So think about chevelles, etc in that year bracket. Problem is first things most yard do is punching holes in tanks for insurance purposes.
