Hello everyone, Gearing myself up to start the long process of restoring my truck. I have a 1938 Chevy pickup. I rescued this truck from my great grandma's farm back in 1994. It was in her barn since 1976 and now in my father's since 1994. They used this truck around the farm and placed a flatbed on it from an old Ford back in the 40's. It also has a 1936 216 from the sedan they parked on the farm. Seems they had lent the truck to a neighbor and he froze the block on the original. Since they needed the truck more than the car...This motor is still freed-up too

This should be a fun project and I have a 1937 216 that had been recently rebuilt that I will place in it. They parked the truck because according to my great uncle Tom (who use to farm with the truck), They were pulling something out pretty roughly and snapped the torque shaft inside the torque tube.
