Just an idea, I think those pins are stepped, and kinda like a rivet are upset on the end in the top casting. I have a transmission with loose pins to and have not yet attacked the problem. But I'm thinking they could be tightened by using a rivet gun, unless they are way too loose then a person may have to have some made or if you have a lathe make them.
