Just joined and saw your post. Not sure how the forum sit works, I will figure that out later but I did want to say hi.
I also have a recently aquired 1938 Chevy pickup. Mine has a VS commodore back end and an L100 Mitsubushi front end which have be adapted to the 38 Chevy rather easily. This avails modern suspension, modern brakes/running gear to accommodate the 5lt motor I intend to install.
