Hi everyone
names jeff and im from Sydney Australia
just bought myself a 1938 Chevy maple leaf 1/2 ton and a 1938 1 ton truck
planing to keep most of the original parts but upgrade some also to make it safer as its kind of dilapidated currently
trying to find some replacement leaf springs for the front and back but its rather hard to find any parts here next plan is to upgrade the steering and brakes at lest the front and smaller drums at the back as they are giant drums in the back. found some American sites that sell new parts but i might have to get some custom ones made also for things i cant find.
well that's a rough outline of my plans so if anyone could point me in the right direction of places that make or sell parts for these beautiful trucks point me in the right direction.
