i have an external filter and thought i may as well use it
Is the external filter a bypass or a full-flow? Only a bypass filter ban be used with the 1/8" tee off of the oil pressure gage fitting. The link that Curt provided is for the full-flow filter, using 3/8" fittings. I installed a full-flow filter using those instructions. However, subsequent research has just about convinced me that a good bypass filter may be better.
