The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop calling all experts: What to do first?

Ok i need some help on this one. I have a bit of sheet metal work to do on the cab of mt truck. Normal things like cab corners and vent panels. However i also have come to the decision that the entire floor will need to be replaced. My question is what to do first?

Shoudl i repair the cab corners and other items BEFORE the full floor? I figured if i did that i can use the current floor (what is there) are a base to align the new panels.

OR do i replace the full floor and part of the toeboard first beacause the cab coners and other pieces may not have anything to weld to when it comes to the floor.

Finally is there any good sites or instructions for those that have done a complete floor redo (not small patch panels.)

My initial thought was to remove the driveline. Then support the cab from above. Brace the internal structure and doors, after i get the doors aligned correctly first. Cut out the floor. Put the new floor in on the frame bolted in to to the correct position. Then tack the floor in place and test the fitment of the doors still and other pieces.
