You can start off with a 55 Chevy shop manual that will be the best help to get , if it's a engine from a car ,Hyd lifters, than get a car shop manual for a 55 read it thru a few times and keep it on the work bench also take you're time.The frist engine you do will take some time to do and maybe you could have you're brother come over and look things over just to be sure, after the frist one the rest are easy just take you're time to build a lasting engine .
