First is the therm. working for the engine to get to operating temp? With the engine warmed up & the rad full grab the heater hoses with your hand. Both hoses should be hot enough that you can only hold on for a few seconds. If one hose is hotter then the other then the restriction is were that hose came from. If both are cold your engine is not warming up. You can blast a little air in the heater core with a rag around the blow gun to flush it out.
