#72129 02/17/2007 4:20 PM | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 65 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 65 | I was in the salvage yard a few weeks ago and I found a 1973 GMC 1/2 ton with a 12 bolt rear. Has any one tried to use these axles in an 67-72 12 bolt rear? I'm guessing they won't work but I'm not sure, and I haven't run across a set of 72 axles yet. Sean
