On the 1/2 tons, GC model 37's, the arms bolt to the back of the spindle. Try loosening those bolts and lift the end you need higher and tighten the bolts back down. I had to do this on mine when I went to a adjustable draglink. You could open the holes a bit to get more clearance if yours is like mine.
