Metricnut Apprentice M Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 27 Arizona	I went through this same issue with my '46 and JC. Did you order part number ME217? If so then you need part number ME218. It fit my bellhouseing & frame correctly. I believe ME218 is in a later year catalog. Look into it, it worked for me.
