That SUCKS! Yeah, could probably have been worse, but still, shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Before you file your final lawsuit papers against the shipper, check CAREFULLY underneath - I'd be pretty surprised if some of the pump plumbing didn't take a hit. That area usually has the drain line from the pump, and/or the booster tank-to-pump line in it. Neither one of those is flexible, and damage would be relayed to other parts easily.
On the other hand, if it IS just the running board, than there's hope for a pretty clean fix. AND, the rest of the truck DOES look nice! Very clean. Should be reliable.
