I have a 12 bolt rearend out of a 67 1/2 ton truck that measures the same width as my original torque-tube rearend, I know that the original axle is not centered & that I will have to move it back 1-1/2" to 2".
My question is, I know I have to mount new perches on the axle, the rear springs measure 1-3/4" wide, would the be a problem using a perch thats 2-1/4" wide. I'm looking at a perch thats used for off road, they are long enough that I can drill the locating hole & offset the rearend to the back.
