DADS50 Shop Shark D Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 4,263 Nevada	The one I purchased from Napa for my 235 it came with an o-ring. ...pic..click.. I dont know if the missing o ring is related to your "thumping" noise. I installed the distributor without the o-ring. You may need to investigate. Good Luck DADS50 YouTube 1950 chevy 3100
