For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 109 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 109 | After a long wait, my 1966 GMC Burb will be in Las Vegas on Saturday morning.
My problem is this. It has a flat sitting on the transport truck and no spare. I have a 2003 GMC half-ton pickup with six bolt pattern.
Will my spare fit the '66 or do I need to find a rim to mount a tire. I don't think I care about back spacing and all, just to move the truck around till I get some new tires on it.
I have looked and am still confused. Did the bolt pattern change when the trucks went metric? If so what year(s) will work on the 1966 Burb?
Thanks for any input. | | |
