The one ton frame is significantly thicker and bigger. The steel in a 3/4 ton is 3/16 thick while that used in the 1 ton frame is 9/64. See The Chevy restoration kit for more details. Welcome to the Bolt. Better check those thicknesses, 3/16 is heavier than 9/64. OOPs... my bad.. 9/64 should be 7/32. Don't know how I managed to screw that one up. Thanks.
