You will have to hide under the hood while your buddy drives to see. Sorta like the refrigerator light
Well really, you can just hook up the light outside the hood and see when it goes on.

have done what Hide under hood while buddy drives - awful trusting soul - I would be looking for big and deep mud puddle. Not sure if I would do it but I will confess to thinking about it.
