panic 'Bolter P Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 1,922 Long Island	A T-fitting is put on the oil pressure port to feed the filter. The gauge will read oil filter pressure Right - it's not showing engine oil pressure, only the backpressure from the filter medium (and whatever restrictor is in the line).
