I'm considering purchasing a take-out engine/4-speed trans assembly from a stovebolt truck, not sure of the year. The stamped number behind the dizzy begins with "DCM" followed by a 6-digit number which makes me think it might be a 1946 model 235, but that alpha code gets skipped in the code lists I can find. Anybody got any words of wisdom?
