I also had to move the fender support. We just made a plate where it bolts to the fire wall to move it down and reshape the rod slightly. It has worked very well for LOTS of miles and LOTS of trips down the 1/8 mile drag strip. You can see my set up in the Photo Gallery under Ron and Kim Plender's 1950 pickup. The truck runs well and still gets 20+ mpg down the highway. We drive it everywhere - my wife leaves her '98 Camaro in the garage! | | |
