#71140 01/06/2007 1:56 AM | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 55 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 55 | I'm looking at having to hook up vacuum wipers on my 53 1/2ton The truck has a 1962 261 engine with a single stage mechanical fuel pump. There is are two vacuum taps into the intake just below the carburetor. One of them has a hose from the breather pipe and the other is unused. I assume that unused tap can be used for the wipers. If I am in error on that please set me straight.
