I'm preparing to install a 1960 235 engine in my truck. The forward engine mount is located below the balancer. Two bolts pointing down in the mount for engine attachment. There appears to be a bolt in the center of the mount attaching to the engine. The 1960 235 engine is replacing is a 1955 235 engine. The 1955 engine mount did not have the center bolt. I thought both mounts were the same. I want to remove the mount on the 1960 235 and use the mount from the 1955 235. Are these mounts interchangeable and why is there the center bolt on the 1960 235? I have a shop manual for my 1955 but not for the 1960? Looking for some advise. Thanks......
