So I'm ready to mount my 1954 235 truck engine into my '46 pickup. My question is about the four front mounting carrage bolts. Are they normal (Ace) grade mounting bolts or something stronger. My understanding of carrage bolts is there normally used with wood applications, not holding a engine in place. What were the OEM sizes of the bolts? As allways thank you in advance for the advice.
