This unit was first designed during 1931 for use on some 1932 vehicles. The design was so ahead of its time that variations of this unit were used by Chevrolet as late as 1964.
The unit is in serious demand by others in the old car hobby, as it may be used as a replacement (with throttle changes) to a great many number of earlier cars and trucks.
The carburetor was produced in three S.A.E. sizes. Chevrolet used sizes 2 and 3. The size 3 units are being retrofitted on supercharged Bugatti's (among others).
