I am using bucket seats from 2005 suburban. To gain extra room I moved both back so that rear of seat sits on top of the "back deck" steel lip. The steel strip is good to attach the rear bolts and then used steel 1" square tubing to level out the front. I think I gained about 3=4" leg room.
