I switched to halogen sealed beams many years ago, but I run my lights all the time I’m driving and they burn out very quickly. So I went back to standard sealed beams on the low beam bulbs, and left the halogen bulbs on the high beams. I also installed a relay system which makes everything much brighter, and will be necessary if you want more powerful headlights. Here’s a thread showing how I did mine:
