Couple thoughts on this
1. Dont make problems where they are not existant.
2. If you are concerned get it checked out by a machine shop.
3. Yes it will cost I dont know how much
BUT you will have peace of mind
4. Capital cost vs operating cost issue ie what is cost of checking vs lifetime cost of aspirin and stress medicine?
