| | | | Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 101 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 101 | The GMC 228 oil bath air filter that I have won't fit on the 2 bbl carb on my GMC 302. The diameter on the 302 Carb is 2 5/8" at the top of the Carb. The diameter of the raised ridge that the filter clamps to is 3 3/16".
I'm guessing that the correct oil bath filter is going to be very hard to find. I'd like to find a paper element filter for the time being, just so I can finally get the truck on the road. Any suggestions where I can find a filter? | | |
