I didn't even notice that I had a deluxe rubber (it was used and I thought I would save the money) installed it and then realized that there is a groove for the "trim" So I bought trim. But yeah you have to put the trim in before you put the glass in.
Just be sure to put rope in your rubber, so when you place it on the cab, you just have someone push from the outside and you pull the rope, it pulls the rubber right over the lip perfectly.
So glass in rubber, trim in rubber, rope in rubber. apply
