I use an insurance called milemeter for a couple of my vehicles that I don't put many miles on or use regularly.
Where I used to pay $86 a month each, I now pay close to the same every 6 months, each.
The program is for 6 months or 1,000 miles but if I exceed my mileage in the 6 month period, I can always add miles.
I have a hunting jeep CJ5 used during season and my wife's Grand Cherokee that she drives a block to work each day. These are both covered with this company. Next I'll add my '59 Apache that won't be a daily driver but will be covered.
I'm all about saving money these days.
