Ned, maybe there is something because yours is bigger?
Joe, I have a complete spare tire system sitting outside my door for the 1/2 ton but don't see anything there or in the assembly manual.....but that don't mean I have not missed anything as mine was stripped pretty dang good when I got it.
Ned, that big hole....looks to be sunken in and almost a factory or nice job by someone. Maybe we'll get it figured out?
The other pic I saw was from a guy in Cali that I bought some parts from. His is a 1 ton as well and his has the hole like in the pic. So maybe there were different options for spare tire carriers?
