The truck was originally a 235. I haven't yet installed the cross member, so I'm not even sure exactly where it will be in relationship to the engine mounts. I'm wondering if I will have room for mounts that weld to the frame, or if they will need to weld to the cross member, or will I need to put in a tubular member for engine mounts like when a V8 is swapped in with the original suspension.
Ideally, I would like to go with something like achipmunk showed that has some shock absorbing capability.
Also, I'm thinking the original front cross member is going to need to come out, but not 100% positive.
I'm interested in feedback from others that have done this swap, and any pictures that they have.
