#70330 12/20/2006 3:55 PM | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 586 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 586 | Jhaa_lives,the crayon trick does work.Tayninh,I made duals on my 53 wrecker by mounting a piece of 4"X4" steel box tube between the frame rails and behind the cab.I welded the ends closed and brought two, 2" stainless stacks up from there with flanges welded to the top of the 4X4 box.Another flange was welded on the bottom for an inlet.With no muffler and rain caps it sounds great especially on a heavy long pull.
