A friend of mine asked me if painting the pickup the way I was planning on painting my 38 Chevy Pickup was going to bring the value of it down and not hold it's worth? Does the colors matter? I'm keeping it with the original seats, transmission, engine, axles, suspension, everything except paint and tires weren't going to be exact original. I was thinking of Metallic Blue for the hood, cab, and bed, and Metallic White for the fenders and running boards. I thought that looked fine, not too hot rod looking, but still had a classy look to it. But what do you all who are paint experts think? Any input would be very helpful. Thanks
