assuming you're talking about the 59 you've talked of before, it's not clear just what you're asking about - the lower pedal shaft comes off the master by removing everything you see attaching it, the eccentric bolt, the grease fitting bolt/shaft and it's retainer, it should almost fall off then ... if you're wondering about the upper pedal shaft, that does usually take some hammering, but it's not necessary to remove that to change the master
