I am installing a new master cylinder but having trouble with the brake pedal shaft. Th manual makes it sound pretty simple. Remove the retaining nut, retainer and remove the shaft.

First is this shaft pressed in?

Second do I have to remove the grease fitting first?

Third is this shaft just knocked out with a hammer?

I am assumeing that I need to leave the mount botls is to remove this shaft?

Any help would be appreciated..
