In 1966, GM began painting the dash Medium Fawn, in lieu of Light Fawn, to cut down on glare from the sun. I have never noticed a difference between the two or any glare, at all, for that matter.
Isn't "Medium Fawn" more of a brown color, whereas Fawn is kind of "metallic gold / Champagne" in color? I never understood how these two colors could have the same base name and be so dramatically different?
