I had a spicer 45 in my 1/2 ton. Years ago when I was looking I was told there was only 3.15:1 gears available and they were a bit pricey. I had 3.08 gears so that didn't give me much of an advantage. Identify what axle you have and then go to a reputable rear end shop. They will be able to tell you if there are any parts still available. You are right... you do have a shot because it is a GMC! | | |
